From an original idea by Richard Ayres

In the spring of 2019, Mark embarked on a truly amazing and unique project. The famous1980 Wimbledon final between Borg and McEnroe was brought to spectacular life in a 70 minute show imbedded at the heart of a 3 hour immersive experience fusing cinema, sport and theatre. Every serve, volley and groundstroke as well as the mannerisms of the players was meticulously learnt by the two staring actors.

A large cast of 40 professional actors played the roles of players, line judges, ball boys and girls and enthusiastic crowd. Together, they recreated the standout moments of the match.
